Stay like a resident in this town

This is not your usual hotel. The reception area is on the second floor of the smallest cultural complex, Hagiso, created from the renovation of a traditional Japanese house.

The guest rooms comprise separate renovated living units. Guests use the public baths and restaurants around their rooms. Hanare’s unique concept of an entire town as a big hotel has been drawing visitors, and the number of tourists from overseas has been increasing.

Inside Hagiso is a café famous for its delicious coffee. Hanare provides classes organized by local residents so that guests may have cultural experiences at local temples and in teachers’ homes. Bike rentals are also available for touring areas where you can get a feel of the good old Japan that is slowly being lost in recent times.
