In February 2024, Aman will opened the world’s first hotel under the new brand Janu within Azabudai Hills. The word “Janu” derives from Sanskrit, meaning “soul.” The concept revolves around “connection,” “inspiration,” and “curiosity.”

The hotel is situated on floors 1 through 13 of the Azabudai Hills Residence A Tower, featuring 122 guest rooms, eight restaurants and bars, as well as wellness facilities.

The guest rooms, ranging from 55 to 284 square meters, are equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows, and many include private balconies.

Tokyo’s One of the Largest Wellness Facility Takes Center Stage

The most remarkable thing about this hotel is the wellness facility, boasting an impressive 4,000 square meters, making it the largest scale among Tokyo’s luxury hotels. It includes seven treatment rooms, five movement studios offering activities such as spinning, boxing, and yoga, and a top-notch gym. The hydrotherapy area features a 25-meter heated pool, thermal baths, and two spa houses.
