Foie gras crispy sandwich stimulates appetite

People were intensely curious about what was like a 9 to10-course meal was like for just ¥5,500 at French restaurants when L’As opened in 2012. However, after more than eight years, their curiosity has been replaced with loyalty, and as soon as they leave the restaurant, they start thinking about what chef Daisuke Kaneko, who changes the menu every month, will serve at their next visit. 

In a way, it is logical to eliminate too much interior and service and to focus on delivering the moments when guests enjoy delicious meals, wines, and conversation. 

The dishes he creates with the best ingredients are constantly evolving, but the Foie Gras Crispy Sandwich is never off the menu and always served as a tantalizing appetizer.

Chef Kaneko opened another restaurant Cork, next to L’As in 2013. Cork serves a nine-course menu and a marriage of dishes and drinks (mainly wines). 

He also opened a French delicatessen, Recipe & Market, in 2016.
