ONSEN RYOKAN YUEN SHINJUKU
At Shinjuku Japanese inn, an onsen, hot spring, from Hakone
This is an affordable Japanese inn where you can get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and relax while having good access to Shinjuku. The selling point is a hybrid feature that allows you to take an open-air bath using hot springs from Hakone while enjoying the night view of Shinjuku.
It has Japanese-style rooms, ranging from single-occupancy ones to those for an entire family. Its interiors are made of cypress, cedar solid wood, and Japanese paper.
The guests have to remove their shoes while entering the rooms. You can experience Japanese culture all over since the elements of a traditional Japanese inn have been deployed in the design and services. There is a spot garden where you can experience the four seasons of Japan.
The staff uniforms are inspired by kimonos. The first floor has a Japanese restaurant with an eight-meter-long ginkgo tree counter, where you can taste seasonal ingredients cooked on an iron plate or deep fried in batter to make tempura.
