From textile design, a new, original brand

The Auralee collection is seemingly simple, but people passionate about fashion and clothing will notice the difference between it and other brands.

The silhouettes and the texture of the materials used make the pieces feel like a second skin.

Designer Ryota Iwai launched this brand in 2015 and opened the flagship store in Tokyo in 2017. He has been presenting his collections at Paris Fashion Week since 2019.

Auralee is a completely original brand: while most fashion designers use ready-made textiles, Iwai makes his own textiles, and offers the entire spectrum of services from creating the fabric to designing the outfits.

Iwai sources his textiles from the brand’s parent company, a textile wholesaler specializing in fine cotton and wool.

He even travels to international production sites, chooses raw wool, and instructs artisans at the Japanese factories to weave and sew according to his design.

Auralee’s luxurious textures, modern colors, and silhouettes have won the hearts of many fans, whose numbers are steadily on the rise.
